When you arrive for your appointment, you will be greeted warmly by one of our friendly receptionists. If this is your first visit, you will be asked to fill out a short information sheet about you and your pet (you can fill out one of our online New Client Forms HERE, and your information will be sent to us before your appointment). A receptionist will then ask any additional information, enter you and your pet(s) into our system if this has not already been done, and tell the veterinarian you have arrived. We will usher you into an examination room as soon as we have one available. Please feel free to browse our retail area while you wait, or read one of our magazines. Our goal is to see all of our clients and patients on time, and although we have contingencies for emergencies, there will be times where the unexpected will create delays. We will ensure these are minimized as much as possible.
You will normally see a Veterinarian for the entire appointment. The veterinarian will take a history, gather pertinent data, examine your pet, answer your questions and plan further diagnostics or treatment as necessary. You may see a Registered Veterinary Technician to wrap things up, and she will provide you with further educational information and answer routine wellness and care questions for you. Our receptionist will handle billing and schedule any needed follow up.
