Meghan

I grew up in Norfolk County and have had a love for animals for as long as I can remember!

I was accepted into the veterinary technology program at the university of Guelph, Ridgetown Campus. I completed my college externship at Elgin Animal Hospital and graduated from the vet tech program in June 2024. I fell in love with the team and the amount of mentorship I was given during the time of my externship, and soon joined the team not long after! I have interests in parasitology, hematology, cytology, and pretty much anything that involves using the microscope. I love knowing that what I'm doing has a purpose and that I'm continually getting to make a difference in my patient’s lives. 

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time on my boyfriend's dairy farm, where I get to hand feed baby calves, play with his 3 dogs, and care for all the barn kitties! I look forward to meeting you and giving all my love to your fur babies!
